August 15^th –Hot August Music Festival   Oregon Ridge Park

Presented by Towson University WTMD Enjoy a diverse selection of bands.  Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome so bring your sunscreen, hats and sunglasses.

Aug 28 to Sept 7- Maryland State Fair– Timonium State Fair Grounds

The 11 Best Days of Summer-Concerts, rides, midway, exhibits, farm animals, livestock, horse racing and lots of food concessions.

Aug 29^th to Oct25-Maryland Renaissance Festival– The region’s premier outdoor event and the second largest Renaissance Festival in the country. Come dressed in your best renaissance costume and enjoy the merriment. Annapolis

 

 

July 31th to August 15^th–Baltimore County Restaurant Week –View the many participating restaurants  for “local flavor, delicious deals”.

August 21^st –Summer Social at West Shore Park –

Bring a blanket and enjoy a fun, family-friendly evening at West Shore Park, featuring live music by New Romance, a Playworks kids play area, food trucks, beer, wine and mixed drinks, and the Walter Sondheim Interactive Fountain. Summer Socials are always free to attend.

Through August 23, Fort Flag Freedom  Weds.-Sun. – SPECIAL DAILY PROGRAMS — Fort McHenry Guard living history will be “on duty” with special artillery and flag talks, children’s activities, fife and drum concerts and talks on civilian life at Fort McHenry, Baltimore in 1814!  Bring a picnic and enjoy the views.
