Springfest Live!

Lagers, IPAs and shandys… oh my! Join Power Plant Live! for a celebration of craft beer at our first annual Springfest Live! Craft Beer and Music Festival. Enjoy unlimited samples of 120+ beers from 50+ local breweries including Dogfish Head Brewery, Union Craft Brewing and Monument City Brewing Company. General admission tickets also include a souvenir beer tasting glass and a beer bible for tasting notes.

40th Annual Steam Show

Check out this steam show at the Fire Museum of Maryland, showing early hand pumpers and steam engines. Get a dose of history along with seeing some fascinating machinery. Great family fun every May. Contests for the kids and hose wagon rides, demos with hand and horse-drawn apparatus.

Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar

Under the overpass at the end of the JFX is where you will find Baltimore most well known farmers’ market. You name it, you can find it here: fresh produce, baked goods, food vendors, meat, eggs and even jewelry. It’s a family friendly place on Sunday mornings downtown.

Baltimore Orioles

The soaring, scoring Baltimore Birds are back in town for their 25th season at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Home games in May include: May 5-7 vs White Sox, May 8-9 vs Nationals, May 19-21 vs Blue Jays, May 22-24 vs Twins, May 29-31 vs Yankees. Several of the games have give-aways.

Baltimore Brigade Arena Football

Don’t like baseball, how about arena football? There’s a new team in town, the Baltimore Brigade. Check out a game this season at the Royal Farms Arena. With the field half the length of an NFL field, there is much more scoring. Tickets are very reasonable.
