Joyce J. Scott: Walk a Mile in My Dreams
Joyce J. Scott: Walk a Mile in My Dreams through July 14, 2024 is the summative career retrospective of one of the most prolific and boundary-breaking artists of our time. Born in Baltimore in 1948, Scott grapples with profound social, historical, racial, economic, and personal challenges that concern society at large in dazzling beadwork, sculpture, textiles, jewelry, printmaking, and performance. For five decades, she has upended hierarchies of art and craft, insisting that artistic expression is that “extra inch of life” that nourishes the soul even in the most challenging circumstances. Best known for her virtuosic use of beads and glass, Joyce J. Scott’s works across all media beguile viewers with beauty and humor while confronting racism, sexism, ecological devastation, and complex family dynamics.
Baltimore Orioles

Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the beautiful facility in downtown Baltimore, became the official home of the Orioles on April 6, 1992. The one-time railroad center is 12 minutes west by foot from the City’s Inner Harbor and only two blocks from the birthplace of baseball’s most legendary hero, George Herman “Babe” Ruth.

World Dance Festival
World Dance Festival 2024, May 9-May 13 at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor. According to Eventbrite, “The World Dance Festival has emerged after 10 years of the Baltimore Salsa Bachata Congress. We have evolved and our event has grown beyond only Salsa and Bachata, and has opened its doors to many other styles that we have decided to name WORLD DANCE FESTIVAL 😎This festival will continue its legacy by creating a beautiful space to enjoy the variety and joy of as many dance styles as our community would like to learn and get exposed to.”
Fire Hero Chili Cook-Off & Block Party
On May 19, 2024 of Love & Regret will be hosting our 4th Annual Fire Hero Chili Cook-Off & Block Party to benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation from 12PM – 5PM. You be the judge and vote on who will be the 2024 Fire Hero Chili Champion! The day’s events include chili tasting stations, a silent auction, live music, family friendly games & happy hours all day! Event and auction to benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Tickets for First Responders and their immediate family, employees and members of the NFFF, and Veterans are complimentary. U.S. Women’s Open Golf Championship
The 2024 U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally will be held at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Championship runs May 30th through June 2nd, 2024.
