So you’re selling your home. It’s a great house, perfect location, wonderful neighborhood, highly rated school district, there’s no reason to do anything more to do to place it on the real estate market, right? WRONG!!

Factors to consider

Does your home look like it could be in a magazine? If you said yes, then I’ll take back my WRONG.

Take a picture of your living, dining, kitchen, and bedrooms. Do they look picture perfect? Do they look spacious? Does the furniture arrangement look open and inviting? Is there any clutter? Are there too many pieces of furniture? Is your wall color and décor neutral? Are there any personal pictures, awards or religious symbols?

Depending upon how you answered these questions – and if you’re like most folks – you could probably use some help with getting your home ready to be placed on the real estate market. That’s where a stager could help.

But I don’t have money for a stager. Hold up, you mean you think a price reduction is less than the cost of staging? The average price reduction is 1% off the asking price. As a stager, I’ll tell you the cost of investing in staging is always less than a price reduction on your home.

If you have a vacant home, that’s no problem. We have our own inventory of furniture and can bring in furnishings and accessories to enhance your home, highlight architectural features and create a spacious and inviting environment that has potential buyers ready to move in.

Have furniture, but dated décor? We can help here as well by bringing in artwork, accessories, pillows, etc. We can refresh and renew the look of your home. You may not even want to move after seeing what how your home transforms into a stylish and appealing masterpiece.

On average, staged homes go under contract in 23 days vs. 184 days, which is the national average.
